In the fourth quarter of 2024, several sports apps stood out in the United Kingdom's iOS market. These apps demonstrated varied trends in downloads and active user engagement, as reported by Sensor Tower.

bet365 - Sports Betting saw a fluctuating download pattern, starting at about 11.9K downloads in early October and peaking at approximately 22.8K in mid-November. By the end of December, downloads settled around 15.3K. The app maintained a strong presence with weekly active users starting at 755.9K and climbing to over 1M by the end of the quarter.

Sky Sports experienced a notable increase in downloads towards the end of December, reaching approximately 17.6K. Active users showed some variability, starting at 758.8K and ending the quarter at 734.3K.

Paddy Power Sports Betting downloads peaked at around 22K in mid-November, with a consistent upward trend in active users, starting at 297.4K and reaching 423.4K by the quarter's close.

The Premier League - Official App showed a consistent user base, with active users starting at 1.6M and peaking at over 1.8M in late December. Downloads varied throughout the quarter, with a peak of approximately 13.1K in late September and another spike to 12.1K in late December.

Finally, Spond had a declining trend in downloads, starting from 14.9K at the beginning of the quarter to around 5.1K by the end. Active users also saw a decrease, from 653K down to 522.4K.
